  One of my all-time most hated movies. Horror in this movie means horrible, and not from any shock or fear-inducing emotions, but just outright repulsion for how it handles its subject matter. Both the secondary character and secondary antagonist of this film do little more than buffer audiences from confronting the fact that the main villain is a victim of extreme sexual abuse and, in turn, is represented as a brutish and deformed monster for shock… more

  this movie is just clean and pure cinematography with amazing narration. there's some anthropomorphizing of the animals here and there but i found myself way more invested than i thought i'd be. basically the lion king with kangaroos.
